Thanksgiving is just around the corner and we’ve put together some great ideas to make the day even more delightful!
The least stressful option is to go out to dinner!
Seriously, it’s okay. We’ve come along way from having to pluck turkeys ourselves and you’ll be supporting local business:
On the East side:
• Richardson’s Canal House, 1474 Marsh Road, Perinton, is serving three-course dinners from 1 to 6 p.m. Prices vary.
• Northside Inn, 311 N. Washington St., East Rochester, will serve dinners from 1 to 7 p.m. Prices vary. Offerings include turkey, prime rib and more.
• Horizons at Woodcliff Hotel & Spa, 199 Woodcliff Drive, Perinton, is offering a buffet for $42 for adults and $22 for kids, as well as four-course a la carte dinners ranging from $46 to $58.
Make your reservations now! You can check out more options from the Democrat and Chronicle.

There are so many options; feel free to try something new. Those three sisters (corn, beans, squash) deserve a makeover or maybe a vacation. Delish has some great ideas on how you might add some innovation to your celebration with these great short cut to cooking ideas.
If you do end up as the Iron Chef on Thanksgiving Day, you do have options.
You can order a pre-cooked holiday meal from Wegmans. It’s the best of both worlds. Now, you only have to clean the house and set the table! However, part of the fun of Thanksgiving is the adventure of making the meal, yourself. Wegmans has all the fix’ins for your feast & their website is a great guide to help you plan your menu. And here’s a cheat sheet to help you figure out how much food you need.
When you’re out and about hunting for the right ingredients, why not buy a little extra and donate to the Perinton Food Shelf.
We love this timeline from William Sonoma! It will help you stay on track, so you can be a little less frazzled the day-of. Don’t wait! You can get started on some of your prep now! (Who knew?)
If you’d like to find the perfect home to host any holiday, we’d love to help you!
